Redness and visible vessels

Diffuse redness and visible blood vessels give the skin a blotchy appearance and can have various causes.

Do you recognise this?

  • Blemishes that keep coming back
  • Uneven tone or texture, especially in daylight
  • Skin that feels dull or tight
  • Products that make little difference
  • You would rather cover it with make-up

Do you recognise several points? That says nothing yet about what is needed — we assess that together during a consultation.

What is it and what causes it?

Visible blood vessels on the face are often the result of years of UV exposure, extreme temperature changes or a genetic predisposition to weak vasculature. They remain permanently visible as fine red or purple threads, mainly around the nose and cheeks.

Diffuse redness without distinct vessels may indicate increased vascular sensitivity, early-stage rosacea or a chronically irritated skin barrier. A thorough analysis determines the exact cause and the most targeted treatment.

advice from the specialist

“Beautiful skin is not a treatment but a build-up. We start by understanding what your skin needs.”
