pelvic floor strengthening (Emsella)
Urine leakage when laughing, sneezing or exercising can make you feel insecure and limit you in your daily activities. With Emsella we stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, with the aim of strengthening them and reducing involuntary urine leakage.

When might it suit you?
Emsella may be suitable if you experience urine leakage in which a weakened pelvic floor plays a role, for example after pregnancy or as a result of ageing. During a consultation we discuss your symptoms and assess whether the treatment is right for you.
What does it do?
Emsella uses electromagnetic energy to make the pelvic floor muscles contract repeatedly. These intensive muscle contractions help train the muscles that contribute to bladder control. During the treatment you sit fully clothed on a special chair.
The aim is a stronger pelvic floor and less urine leakage, so you can move more freely. Results vary from person to person; a series of treatments is usually needed.
